For his spring-summer collection 2013, Denis Gagnon play on ambiguity and ambivalence, with each piece illustrating the question of identity and diversity.

Through a precise and avant-garde work, the designer creates some very loose-fitting pieces and some more adjusted ones, to emphasize this question of self-quest and enable an access to all body types and personalities. Denis Gagnon shakes up the conventions and social norms with a collection that recreates the codes of clothing.

The lookbook features Felix at Dulcedo Models, shot by Mathieu Fortin with artistic direction and styling by Yso.

Known for his “couture” approach to leather (his fetish material), his precise cuts and his talent to create airy and spectacular silky pieces, Denis Gagnon is one of the most renowned Canadian designers of his generation.
