Damir Doma SILENT Fall/Winter 2015 collection focuses on contrasts that explore the fine line between the natural and the urban. The collection enables contemporary living with an updated outlook on our nature – The dynamic nature.

A natural tone is created through an interplay with earthy tones and textures throughout. Pieces are dyed in order to bring them alive with their imperfections. The rough texture of a rugged rock precipice plays against the more at ease silhouettes that identify the Damir Doma SILENT collection.

Light installations by Dan Flavin play a role in provoking graphic red lines that are carried through the whole collection. A literal red thread weaves itself through pieces in the ribs, the prints and through raw edge pipings that cut through, tying the collection together.

The layering constructs the men’s collection. Proportions are mixed and matched, various textures overlapping create a mélange of tones, as parachute poplin and nylon plume crash and collide, both through individual layers and through the application of graphical details. The AW15 shows a development on the Damir Doma SILENT identity, constantly forging a path towards achieving the natural touch in an urban reality.
