For COMMON Spring/Summer 2014, Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund presented a sophisticated high-tech collection, focused on lightweight traveling and leisure wear. Sporty fabrics and athletic cuts make the collection youthful and energetic in spirit and versatile in everyday practice. Bakir and Hedlund looked towards the late photographer Luke Smalley’s work, and especially in his first photo book “Gymnasium“, in which Smalley mixes minimalism with nostalgia.
