The pages of an old diary, scribbles, the curious staring of children, their way of portraying the world around them; the COMEFORBREAKFAST Spring/Summer 2015 collection is a journey backwards, though without a trace of nostalgia. Childhood is precisely the springboard for the definition of volumes and silhouettes. Notebook drawings turn into graphic patterns, and childhood perception of reality determines colours and textures. Besides the obvious biographical elements, this is quite an intimate research. It’s about baring the soul, though retaining a light and playful spirit. The collection is at once simple and complex, polysemic in terms of style and inspiration and authentically true to the brand’s aesthetic imagery.
