Drawing inspiration from the Scout movement, CHRISTIAN L’ENFANT ROI presents a collection of silhouettes and strict rules for each fictional district which alludes to the natural evolution of traditional scout attire into the everyday wardrobe. In keeping with the designer’s boyish universe, this season gives small nod to the uniform. Kilts are transformed into tunics, sashes into aprons; legs and sleeves are elongated to give an oversized appearance. In this fictitious CLR troop, we find the Crest Emblem throughout the collection, badges as alchemy symbols, and tone-on-tone neckerchiefs.

The color palette of slate grey, navy and denim-look juxtaposed with the more traditional tan, ivory and black with a pop of harvest gold. This palette also undergoes a metamorphosis by pre-washed or post-washed garments, textures resembling a worn, utilitarian feel, while maintaining a very luxurious, modernized alternative to traditionally stiff uniform shirts and trousers.
