BRACK-MAN Spring/Summer 2016 collection draws on inspiration found within the spirit and customs of the African church community. At a time where political referencing in fashion is at a high point, CHURCH looks to focus on small pockets of society where ideas of togetherness, common values and a sense of joy reign supreme and are reflected in the vibrancy of clothes worn during traditional communal events.
Richly textured fabrics and patterns paired with clean silhouettes aim to merge the traditional with the modern and create a new aesthetic that still holds a nostalgic sentiment. Flowing trousers and loose overcoats signal a move away from restraint and a focus on comfort with a relaxed approach to luxury.
