FW14 sees Blood Brother releasing a collection that combines luxurious materials with playful influences taken from the designer’s childhood memories.

The signature butter soft leather pieces are combined to suede details, offering striking contrasts of matt and shiny. The seamless long lined bomber stands out as the ultimate sports luxe must-have with its beautiful finish. Soft alpaca jumpers are available in the collection’s dominant tons of black and red, while the selvedge denim is made from 13oz Japanese Kuroki. The injection of Kevlar gives the designs an innovative techy feel, which contrasts with other organic materials – the pony hair jacket is one of this season’s hero pieces.

These grown up designs and materials are then combined with details inspired by collectibles and sports – panini football stickers, trophies, scars – giving the collection a fun, playful twist. Building on the brand’s reputation for graphics, the key repeated eyes and roses prints are available on shirts and tops. Subtle sport themed embossments can be found on tops, offering an alternative to the brighter printed pieces. Quilted designs are back, this time inspired by the shapes created by books spines.
