“…Stop crying… like a little girl. I’ll give you a charm. That’ll make you a man…”. Angelos Frentzos for the SS15 man opens like this. With the strength of “Santa Sangre” of Jodorowsky that is the biggest reference of this collection, together with the designs that Ilya and Emilia Kabakov did for the national circus of Moscow. That’s why we found in these garments the form and the texture of the active wear of the american forms, reinvented for the juggler man that has to face everyday this big circus that is life. And is here that we find in full expression the sharp cutting irony of the designer: he has created this man that puts himself in between a revolutionary from the future that walks on the wire of balance and a very fragile contemporary soul that covers himself with panels and colours to face his days with the richness of a smile.
